Since our beginning in 1984, Phoenix Children’s Chorus is proud to be the Phoenix area’s premier mixed-voice choral performance and music literacy program. Our programs includes eight ensembles and four music exploration classes made up of nearly 400 of the valley’s most accomplished young musicians. We are a nonprofit organization with a full staff of professional music educators that provide direction, inspiration, and motivation in meeting the needs of each age growing child and each developing voice.
Phoenix Children’s Chorus fosters excellence in youth by facilitating artistic, musical, and cultural development through choral education and performance. We provide a professional environment in which a diverse community advances the talents, self-esteem, and life skills of its members. As global ambassadors, we develop a passion to enrich the world around us by creating perpetual supporters of the arts.

"This is my 6th year with PCC, and I'm excited to join Encore this year. Last year, I practiced the entire year, especially with my sight-reading, because I was so determined to get in. I'm looking forward to working with Mr. C. I love PCC, how individualized the learning is, and how everyone feels like family and is encouraging as we develop our musical abilities."

"This is my 3rd year with PCC. Our director, Miss Openshaw, is cool and makes sure we learn and get things right. I like to learn specifically how we are suppose to sing and then do it at the concert. I'm in orchestra at school, so this gives me an opportunity to develop my singing talents, too. Singing makes me so happy - - I love PCC!"
"This is my 7th year with PCC. I've learned that my friends here, and my director, Mr. Meeker, truly care about me and it feels good to be a part of this big PCC family. It's a great place for every kid that wants to be part of a big community. Not everyone gets a chance to do something like this, but for those of us who do, we can take all we learn and use it in our daily lives."
