This is my 9th year with PCC. I’ve learned that my friends here, and my director, Mr. Meeker, truly care about me and it feels good to be a part of this big PCC family. It’s a great place for every kid that wants to be part of a big community. Not everyone gets a chance to do something like this, but for those of us who do, we can take all we learn and use it in our daily lives.
This is my 3rd year with PCC. Our director is cool and makes sure we learn and get things right. I like to learn specifically how we are suppose to sing and then do it at the concert. I’m in orchestra at school, so this gives me an opportunity to develop my singing talents, too. Singing makes me so happy – – I love PCC!
Over my 9 years in choir, I have grown to love music, but especially this past semester, I have learned to appreciate music now more than ever. In January, I learned that music can touch and change other’s lives. In February, I learned that music is glorious when we do it together. In March, I learned that music is exciting and fun. And now, I have learned that music can never die, despite us being apart. Thank you for impacting my life, PCC. Because of you, my soul will never cease to sing.
When everything in life fell apart, I had PCC to push me through it. I have met so many inspirational directors and choristers throughout my years in the choir. PCC is like a family to me. No matter how hard things are outside, the PCC family will always be there to support you. PCC has forever touched my heart.
PCC has shown me what it’s like to be in a real team. We only meet once a week, but I’m in contact with choristers everyday, whether that’s with council or friends. Of all the teams I’ve been on, this one is the most uplifting. At PCC, we love seeing each other succeed, because when we do, we all succeed.
