Phoenix Children’s Chorus is proud to be Arizona’s premier youth choir and music literacy program. Led by a dedicated staff of choral professionals who specialize in working with young voices, our program features six performing choirs and two music exploration classes, providing options for children and youth in grades K-12.

GRADES K-2

Poco Voce is a music exploration class that allows children to develop basic musical literacy and vocal skills. Students explore the fundamentals of music through age-appropriate teaching methods. Children learn an appreciation for music while also being given the tools to succeed in choral music in the future.
GRADES 2-5
​
Presto is PCC’s youngest performing choir where singers learn the basics of performing in choir. While acquiring the building blocks of musicianship, Presto singers learn the value of practice and teamwork through the creative process. Choristers experience a variety of musical genres, foundational singing techniques, and professional performance opportunities.

GRADES 5-8
​
Canto is PCC’s intermediate choir for middle schoolers. Choristers learn a wide range of music literacy concepts and choral singing techniques. Additionally, choristers deepen their abilities to read music, learn appropriate rehearsal and concert etiquette, and enjoy a supportive community of peers who are passionate about the arts.
GRADES 6-8

Cadenza is the PCC’s advanced touring middle school choir. Choristers hone their skills in music literacy and choral singing in a supportive and joyful atmosphere. Cadenza has toured both nationally and internationally and is known for singing diverse and challenging children’s choir repertoire.
GRADES 9-12

Bravo is the PCC’s intermediate high school choir. Bravo emphasizes PCC’s commitment to excellence in choral music. Choristers receive an expansive education in music literacy and choral technique, giving them the skills to succeed in the choral arts and beyond.
GRADES 10-12
​
Encore is PCC’s flagship touring choir. Encore receives extensive training in music literacy and choral technique. As PCC’s premier concert choir, Encore enjoys touring both domestically and internationally. Encore is known for its diverse repertoire and engaging performances.
Dolce is an auditioned ensemble made up of 16-24 choristers from Bravo and Encore, providing singers with the opportunity to learn small ensemble performance techniques, participate in more professional performances, and widen the scope of their repertoire. Dolce performs as a carolers during the holidays and has performed as a feature ensemble for events like the PGA Phoenix Open and BCS National Championship.
