Developing Independent Musicians
Phoenix Children’s Chorus is committed to quality music education within PCC as well as in K-12 schools. As such, we are excited to offer an innovative 3-day workshop for current and future music educators focused on research-based music teaching methods. We are honored to host inspiring educator Dr. Carol Krueger as our facilitator teaching us to develop independent musicianship in the music classroom. We will explore rhythmic and tonal literacy, instructional methodologies, assessment, and practical application. The schedule will include a 3-hour morning session, break for lunch, and a 3-hour afternoon session. This workshop is sure to challenge and inspire you.
